Door-2-Door Transport is the new local urban transport service for people with disabilities, or for those who find it difficult using mainstream public transport. The service will allow you to get about the town you live. It can take you to your work, your local shop, your town centre, your hairdresser, your local bank, your local doctor, or even just to visit your family or friends.

Shopmobility is a scheme to loan Free Of Charge wheelchairs and scooters to people with mobility difficulties who find access to the City Centre difficult.

Translink includes Metro NI Railways and Ulsterbus Services which aim to provide co-ordinated bus and rail facilities. Translink is committed to improving services to meet the needs of disabled people. Low-floor buses, ramps, colour contrasted handrails, palm push bells, visual and audio information on newer trains are some of the significant improvements already undertaken.
Assistance dogs including guide and hearing dogs and are now permitted on buses and trains.
