Access400
Date Added / Last Changed: Tuesday 28th July 2009The Access400 guide gives an accurate overview of the level of accessibility and services available in Culture Arts and Leisure facilities across N Ireland. The booklet & online database is a popular service which provides:
•Disabled people with useful information before they arrive at
venues.
•A practical resource to everyone concerned with the
inclusion of disabled people in social and public life by
advertising the facilities & services available in local venues
Venue details are sequenced in a ‘walk-through’ approach to address each physical element of the building and also any auxiliary aids or accessibility services offered and describes each in turn
We are keen to maintain regularly updated records for all venues and want to encourage more disabled people to use this service and to help ADAPT record accurate data for Access400.
If you’re ready to shake of the winter blues and want to get out and about. Contact us for a copy of Access400, which is also available in alternative formats (Braille, Large Print, Daisy and Audio CD).
ADAPT not only values the sharing of information. We are keen to facilitate open exchange, dialogue and regular consultation that can help build equality and inclusion across all sectors
